EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique)
Because healing isn’t just about insight—it’s about feeling safe enough to feel.
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), often called “tapping,” is a gentle yet powerful somatic practice that helps regulate the nervous system, release emotional tension, and interrupt the cycles of fear, overwhelm, and self-sabotage that keep us stuck.
At its core, EFT combines the wisdom of ancient Chinese medicine with modern psychology. By tapping lightly on specific acupressure points—while staying present with thoughts, emotions, or sensations—you send calming signals to the brain, letting your body know that it's safe. This simple practice speaks directly to the parts of you that don’t respond to logic or language—the parts shaped by trauma, stored in the body, and activated in moments of stress.
So often, healing work stalls not because we don’t understand what’s happening, but because our system doesn’t yet feel safe enough to let go.
That’s where EFT comes in.
In session, we use tapping to:
Calm the nervous system during emotional activation
Clear stuck energy from past experiences and limiting beliefs
Create a sense of embodied safety and resilience
Rewire the body-mind connection so that new patterns become possible
Gently process trauma without overwhelm
What makes EFT so unique is its ability to meet you exactly where you are. Whether you're flooded with emotion, completely shut down, or somewhere in between, tapping helps bring you back to center—without needing to force or fix anything.
Clients often say EFT helps them feel:
Less anxious, more grounded
More emotionally available and less reactive
Able to stay present in moments that once felt unbearable
Reconnected to their intuition and inner wisdom
Empowered to regulate themselves between sessions
The beauty of EFT is that it's not just something we do together—it's something you can take with you. It becomes a resource, a daily practice, a lifeline in moments of dysregulation. Over time, tapping can help you build a relationship with your emotions that is no longer based on fear, but on trust and compassion.
This isn’t about bypassing hard feelings. It’s about creating the conditions for those feelings to move, shift, and heal—safely, gently, and at your own pace.
EFT reminds us that our bodies aren’t the enemy. They’re the doorway.
And when we learn to listen, soothe, and support them, healing begins to flow from the inside out.
